Saharanpur : (1st Nov) When we find scores of Saharanpur’s busy medical professionals sparing a few hours to selflessly attend the ailing poor, you can’t help but appreciate the effort of the social organisation that made it happen. This is exactly what National Sports Welfare Association (NSWA) did today when, like previous occasions, it organised a mega Health Check-up Camp at National Public School, Jwala Nagar, Saharanpur. It was a pleasant experience to see more than 28 doctors and several paramedics supported by nearly 100 volunteers working like a team in today’s camp. A big thank you to the organisers which included Vimal Virmani, Javed Sabri, Prof. P.K. Sharma (Pummy), Surendra Chauhan etc., and the healers of Saharanpur for their selfless service which benefitted nearly 800 men, women and children.
The team of doctors arriving as early as 9.30 a.m. at the camp venue included Dr. S.K. Gupta (eye surgeon), Dr. Kaleem Ahmed (Internal Medicine), Dr. Aijaz Ahmed (psychiatrist), Dr. Prabhat Kumar Verma (Cancer Specialist), Dr. Rahul Singh (Orthopaedic Surgeon), Dr. Vivek Kumar Sharma (Chest Specialist), Dr. Abhilash Kumar Gupta (Cardiologist), Dr. Jaipal Chand, Dr. Mohan Singh (ENT Surgeon), Dr. Miglani (Physician), Dr. Nutan Upadhyay (Gynaecologist), Dr. Viram Upadhyay (Dental Surgeon), Dr. Deepti Upadhyay Dubey (Dental Surgeon), Dr. Sandeep Garg (Physician) and worked feverishly upto 2 p.m. to attend to the large number of patients forming long queues at the registration counter.
