IHRA holds rally to energise people

DM Saharanpur is aiming to achieve 90+ percent voter turnout

Saharanpur – 22 Jan : Responding to a call given by the District Magistrate Saharanpur Mr. Shafaqat Kamaal, to start a campaign in its adopted localities to motivate voters so as to raise voting percentage, International Human Rights Association (IHRA), Saharanpur Chapter, started a series of events by holding a rally in Sharda Nagar and Khalasi Line areas of Saharanpur. The rally was followed by motivational speeches by the District Magistrate Mr. Shafaqat Kamaal, City Magistrate Mr. Hari Shankar, IIA functionary R.K. Dhawan, members of IHRA and some eminent personalities of the locality. An audio-visual presentation was also given by IHRA member and Founder President of www.thesaharanpur.com Sushant Singhal on this occasion to enthuse the public to vote on coming 15th Feb. 2017.

The rally led by the IHRA President Manjeet Singh Arora was attended by score of IHRA members viz. Ms. Meenu Bhattacharya, Secretary Rohit Jain, Coordinator Women Cell Ms. Rashmi Terence, Ashish Gupta, Gagandeep, Manoj Singhal Advocate, Ayush Jain, Dr. S.K. Gupta, Namit Jain Advocate, Pawan Arora, Indrajeet Singh, Praveen Monga, Monika Tyagi Advocate, Kalpana Verma, Diwakar, Raj Kumar Tyagi, Ashu Agarwal, Kalpana Badola, Shashikant Tyagi and many more who were carrying play cards in their hands and were shouting slogans – Sare kaam chhod do, sabse pahle Vote do, samay vote ke liye nikale, jimmedari kabhi na taalen. Aapka Mat, aapka adhikar, Vote dena garv hai, Janta ka yah parv hai etc.

The program concluded after the oath for maximum participation in polling was administered by the DM Shafaqat Kamaal for the entire audience. It may be noted here that the DM Saharanpur is leaving no stone unturned to maximise the voter turnout on 15th Feb 2017 to attain the target of 100% polling.

IHRA members will now be starting door-to-door visits to all households and commercial establishments in the area asking everyone to definitely vote on 15th Feb. 2017.
